Windows Desktop Search

The Microsoft Windows Desktop Search thingy isn’t all that bad. I use Microsoft Outlook 2007 for my emails most of the time, unless i use the webmail for them (obviously). And I noticed that for quick search in emails it has that for ‘instant search’ you needed the windows desktop search installed. So i said why not.

It installs itself, you can choose from exe or msi.. if you wanted to know about that…  i choose exe.

Anyway, it reminds me of the deskbar applet for linux/mac. Allows you to search the whole files on the computer instantly. I like it. Except when you install the WDS, you have to give it about an hour or so to find everything.. considering it’s an instant search, it just can’t ‘find’ everything at once upon installing.

I use it all the time on windows now lol
