Google Chrome
Well. Google Chrom web browser has released! And it is wonderful. Finally a browser with style and slimness. Although I guess that would fit into with the “style.”
It is sometimes a little buggy while playing flash videos. As when I was playing videos from youtube and switched back to another web page, it sort of lagged? Or just a quick freeze? (I call lagging where it’s slowly moving, but this freezed) – That’s the only bug I’ve found so far, other than starting off with a fresh browser again.
This supposedly runs on Linux, however I have not tried it yet. Providing I use with WINE it should run fine
.
There is only a few things that is missing…. such as the middle scroll button.. You know where you click in onthe scroll button and then just move the mouse up or down and it slides along the page?
The flash bug
The error i had with the flash was actually not that bad. It frooze, then came up with an error and asked me about it. To be honest I forget what it said (even thought it only happened about a half hour ago). So far it has user error control. Keep in mind I did not read the review on the google chrome website before downloading this.
Anyway, GOOD LUCK GOOGLE! I love this browser, and will probably use it even more. Maybe it’ll even become my main browser.

G-Zapper, More like G-Crapper
I’ve just came across the stupidest thing I have ever seen dealing with computers. It’s about Google, and other related SE’s (Search Engines, e.g. MSN, Yahoo).
This “G-Zapper” will clear the cookies from google and other search engines used to help the search engine itself. For say, the Google search engine inputs a cookie that says what you’ve searched for the last 24 hours. Then when you go back to the website it pulls that same cookie from your computer, and uses that for reports.. Such as what you have searched for, how long it took you to click a link after a search (I don’t I’m just going off the wall).
The same thing happens with other search engines, Including MSN Search, and Yahoo. Except they probably do it in a different manner… As I haven’t seeen a search engine work so uniquely like the google se.
The funny part about this? G-Zapper charges you to remove these cookies from your computer. Yes, that’s right… a whopping $30. To remove COOKIES.
Can you say a rip off to the people that have no clue what they are using this program for? When they could be doing it themselves with the proper browser itself. FireFox, allows you to search the stored cookies on your computer if you wish. See for yourself, it is in the Options/Prefs.
Now can you tell me what is so hard about removing that yourself? Would you rather want to pay for something so simple, or just do it yourself?
The search engines input these sorts of cookies for purposes obviously. To help improve their search engine, for YOU. Why continuously delete their cookies all the time? They help YOU find what YOU are LOOKING for.
On the website of G-Zapper it also talks about how they could possibly use this information later on and sell it, or something they were saying. Yea, right… come on… like Google or any of them would do such a thing.

Google Sketchup
Well. I’ve tried google sketchup finally. It was shown to me months ago, but I never thought to try it out because at the time i was using qCAD. So just yesterday someone asked me for a tool such as that.. and i tried it.
I know, I don’t have much to say about it right now. I probably will later though.
Really impressed. Try it out yourself. http://sketchup.google.com/download/
